El Dr. Kazuhito Yokoi, subdirector del Instituto de Investigación de Sistemas de Inteligencia del Instituto Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología Industrial Avanzada (AIST) de Japón, es uno de los investigadores más prestigiosos del mundo. Ha trabajado en algunos de los humanoides más desarrollados como son el HRP-2 (izquierda) y, recientemente, en el HRP-4C, más conocido como Mimu (derecha).
